Until I had a brilliant idea on the bus ride to Madison. I downloaded El Camino and I realized what was lacking. In the past, I liked The Keys’ sound, the crunchy, fuzzy, twangy frustration that came out of the speakers but there was something missing. The energy is this album is off the charts. It’s a raw hunger type of energy that can only come from tall shoes, good beer and late, late nights (read: all good things).
